Just bought one alloy suspension hanger for my 410R and a set of the pivot balls. How the hell do you get the pivot balls into the suspension hanger, mine are super tight, tried squeezing them in with pliers but no joy ! help....

I've bought the alloy front/rear hanger for the 410 and the pack of 8 pivot balls, the balls don't fit into the hanger ? Are they a very tight fit ?

The R doesn't come with pivot balls for the hangers. So the pivot balls that you buy from TD will be the full fat version that come in the kits.
As above, should just drop straight in and be free as anything.
Shouldn't be tight at all.
When i broke mine, I just got some pivot balls off Mr Skelding and they just fitted straight in perfectly.

Odd.:eh?:

These ones?-

Hi Tel.

Yep, they are the ones I have.

They don't drop in ! They go in sort of half way, then I've tried tapping them in and also squeezing thm in with some pliers. I wonder of they Are a dodgy batch ?

Sorted it !
Thanks to everyone for the quick replies.

Problem was simply that one of the eight pivot balls doesn't fit, all the others just drop straight in. Typical that the first one I try is fooked.

Same thing with mine, I had one out of the bunch that wouldn't fit in without being sanded down slightly
