Although MKRCTC has their own web site at www.mkrctc.org.uk (http://www.mkrctc.org.uk), there has been a lot of discussion here by people on the Moto-Arena facility and how we fit into it.

Starting with a bit of clarity, niether MKRCTC or any of it's members have any employment or similar arrangement with Moto-Arena.

As a club MKRCTC has been in existance for 12 years and both Ian Devonshire and myself have been on the committee since inception, so have a great deal of experience behind us. We believe our club is friendly, accomodating and run with the intent of getting the balance right between supporting novice and learning drivers as well as those with more dexterity in their thumbs.

We are a club which uses the indoor tarmac track to hold it's club meetings on a Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. We have, and will, hold all day meetings on a Sunday from time to time, but generally our club meetings are from 8:30 to 1:30 Sunday and 6pm to 10pm Wednesday. Any usage of the indoor tracks apart from these times or any usage of the other tracks (outdoor tarmac and grass off-road) is not anything the club has knowledge of.

We race a multitide of circuit classes based on demand. Typically, Mini's (silver can and black can classes), TC's (13.5 and mod currently although we are exploring a slower 17.5 class), WGT (10.5/1S) and F1.

Race fees for visitors are £10 on a Sunday and £8 on a Wednesday. Additional classes (2nd/3rd car) pay an additional £2 per car.
We have secured a dispensation from Moto-Arena where new drivers can join Moto-Arena for £40 and get free MKRCTC membership for the remainder of the year which means a reduction in the race fee. There is a cap on this dispensation, so it's offered on a "first come, first served" basis.

Hopfully this answers some questions, but if there are any more, feel free to ask.
