Like the heading says - what surface do you prefer for a track in the UK.
If a club can maintain the surface what would you prefer racing on?

if it can be done on a good size track, then definitely dirt/clay!

Tony, when you say dirt, do you mean clay that will blue groove???
I think there is a big difference between just dirt and a blue groove track?

I'm all for a US style track with a lot of jumps, 100% clay...

Multisurface without huge jumps ... because I'm lazy and you don't have to clean the car / repair it as much!

For me Kiddy is still my favourite track, follwoed by Stotfold and Southport

In this country...astro/multi, as its a challenge generally remains consistent, and csn be used in pretty much all weathers.

If someone could come up with an indoor dirt/clay track like the Proline arena again, i would say that. I dont think jumps have to be huge, just rollers and long landers are nice!

Muppet!

Dirt all the way for me, with major air and at least one jump which can be backflipped!!

Not keen on tracks with big jumps and big features. For me it's astro turf with a natural off road bumpiness

Question: Why would you vote for yet another astro track when there are already plenty of those ?

A reasonable sized indoor dirt track would be my choice, a copy of OC/RC raceway would be perfect thanks :woot:

Because the question isn't which would you like to see built, it's which do you prefer.

Yes an indoor clay track would be the ideal way but the costing of that is just out of reach.......unless someone knows of a huge barn or similar somewhere .......
I will construct another poll shortly to talk about travelling to and from....this poll has already shown that clay is popular.....

You should have cobble stone track as an option...Clanfield would come under that quite nicely, oh & dirtiest toilets before an event even starts...Clanfield would win that hands down too
I would mention Bolwell but I dont want to get banned
