Update -

Announced venue for AGM is : -
THE BEAGLE -
Post Code IP8 3AR

If you are interested in attending, please use the contact form at www.brca-eoe.co.uk (http://www.brca-eoe.co.uk/) . This is very important to ensure that all those planning on attending are kept up to date with any last minute changes.

After what I can only describe as a painful harvest of information; The emails have gone out to the clubs in the region. I am relying on the committees of those clubs to inform their members. In addition, anyone who is spreading the word from forum posts like these.

Known track updates: -

MORErc : -

MORErc has lost its land. However, as a club we will be putting forward the very popular public Car Show events as the first round of the regional. (There is a second car show lined up for a possible second round later in the year) With BBQ's, beer tents and lots and lots of spectators cheering (not necessarily the fastest car, but best painted car) round the track - it will make an excellent start to the season! Also the ground is so smooth; you will be amazed at how good the racing is! It should increase the attendance for the rest of the series too.

A.R.C Raceway

ARC Have put forward their track as a venue for a 1:10 regional for 2011. There are a couple of very minor issues that I would like to discuss with drivers at the AGM. But with a tiny tiny tweak this will be another cracking fixture for 2011

Coastal

Are updating their off road track to bring it down the hill to a more level surface, but also retain some of the interesting features that make the venue so unique and great to drive. There is also the possibility of them hosting a round or two for the EoE Region.

On a side, yet related note: -

For anyone who has not yet signed up to the new BRCA website and completed their profile, do it and you will now see how much easier it should be to contact drivers and/or clubs in the future! So let's hope that we get the support to ensure the foundations are right in 2011 for what can only be UP for 1:10 Off Road in the EoE!
