Ally rod ends / rose joints

Wasn't quite sure where to post this so here goes:

I need to make up some tie rods for a Mardave racer. Need to be approx 50mm between ball centres. I'm looking for aluminium rose joint ends rather than the plastic pop on (and in my case - pop off) variety and left and right hand thread for ease of adjustment.

Looked on the bay without much luck (other than cheap Chinese stuff) - anyone got any ideas to help? Possibly helicopter stuff as I know they tend to use rose joints - shortening the rods isn't a problem.

Edit - can see plenty of ally rose joints there Jimmy but nothing reverse threaded - got to be approx 3mm rod due to space constraints.

You can get the rose joints from a helicopter place.
They should be decent quality.

Helicopters almost always have threaded rod rather than turnbuckles so im not sure where to get turnbuckles. Although threaded rod should be fine for a mardave.

If you use a turnbuckle you wont need a reverse thread. Search turnbuckle on ebay, loads will come up all different sizes. Hope that helps.

Anyone have a link to a decent helicopter spares place? I've searched ebay for all items such as turnbuckle, linkage, ball link, servo link etc etc and other than

I've not found anything else that fits the bill really. I'm waiting for the seller to confirm the min / max length of that item.

Take a look at Traxxas turnbukles:

Although they are plastic, they are very robust, I never broke or poped one. You can put a washer on the if you are still concerned about them poping off.
Finally, they are available in various sizes.

Looks good Ferrett thanks for that. Just wonder what the length measurement is they quote - min length, max length, or mid length?
