Hi Guys

The X11 has been delayed as you know, this has been down to manufacturing problems. We could have released it earlier but would like it to be as perfect as it can be, rather than slight problems that could affect performance.

We are doing our best to get it out there asap!:)

although i love the car, its far too expensive when compared to other cars out there! £400 compared to £210 for a B44......

if it was £300... id think about it... but £400 thats just too much, im a poor student, i could get two B44's for that price :(

still love the pred though! ill just have to stick with the x10:)

Totally agree, its just too rich. I know it has it all in the box but so many cars are there for about half the money.

No starting promotional price's going to be happening?

To be fair (and I'm no lover of preds) though the materials and low volume levels (especially of the X11) means the price can't really be comparred to the other cars.

I did, it was better than my car on that day, that's not what I meant though.

I meant as an independant person, to compare the costs of a hugely complex, low volume car like the pred to high volume mostly moulded and some cut flat carbon like the B44 isn't a fair comparisson. In the same way the X5 is more expensive as it's a low volume custon conversion for another car.

I will go REALLY well at Worksop. Do you have a base set-up for it in mind? Is it coming built by the boss? (Lewis)

Woody is now part of the team :D The best thing you can do is ring Lewis and talk to him about the release date, I haven't had chance to speak to him as I've been on holiday.

Woody, he's a decent starting set-up:

Front

6 turn springs
Kit pistons & rebound valves
30 wt oil
Push rods mounted on top of rockers
0 degree toe in - may need 1 deg toe-out at Worksop (an old trick we used to use)
-1 degree camber
Castor - right back
14mm ride height - or lower at Worksop depending on bumps, but ride height has a big influance on steering on the Pred as you probably know. I like to see the front of the car 'working' i.e. moving up and down a little.


Rear

5 1/2 turn springs & pre springs
Kit pistons
45 wt oil
Middle hole rockers
4 degrees toe-in per side
-1 degree camber
22mm ride height - or lower at Worksop, but drop front and rear the same.

Hope that helps, wish I could make it to Worksop, next time for sure.

Did some nice quiet testing on Sunday. Had the day all to my self on my track due to everybody else being at Batley. Tried alot of different things and up to now it is very fast. Conpaired to the 501X that I was running last year the X11 is just as fast if not faster but it is a lot more comfortable to drive at that speed. I even crashed a few time at the end of the straight and if that was the 501 it would of broke something but the X11 just got back up and carried on. I was shocked that it didnt brake. I do still have things to try regards Mr Weatherley's set ups but up to now good news.;)

I e-mailed them quite a while ago and i'm on some kind of list, but not heard anything... All seems a bit wierd considering how long ago the car was announced and advertised. Would be really nice to get one before 2nd december :)

It's said in stock for ages, if you read to the bottom of the description, in brackets it says (avaiable soon, preorder now).
I have , I believe, pre-ordered by giving my details to Team Xtreme, not heard anything though. It is a bit annoying when you read stuff on here from team drivers who have got hold of one.

Is there anyone out there who has actually 'paid' for one and recieved it ?????
