Midlands winter racing

Hi guys, after a rather large break from racing I may well be making a return and i'm looking for to see if anyone could point me towards any local clubs running meetings through the winter.
I'm near Northampton and my local club would be silverstone.

Coventry and Kidderminster are running there annual Midland Astro Masters series :thumbsup:

Thanks, Coventry is only down the road so i might try a couple of the rounds there. Do you know if they race 1/10 at the club meetings? I had a look on the website for them but it doesn't make it very clear.

yes both clubs only generally run 10th at the winter MAM series, both 2 & 4WD

There are a few from the Northampton area who do the Broxtowe Winter series just off junction 26 of the M1. About an hour from Northampton. Details can be found in the Broxtowe club section.

There is also an Indoor winter series running at Ardent, near East mids airport.

There's a rumour that the Silverstone club may be hosting some winter racing at the Moto Arena at Silverstone Circuit... see this thread for more. (http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54642)

Those all look pretty managable, silverstone would be idea if it happens. Just need to finish getting all the gear together and I will try a few meetings.
