afaik - leave alone. Maybe someone else can jump in here but some of the Bluebird servos are great - some have had some problems in the past and I think the 661 might call into that latter category. The bluebird 616 / 617 are good and I've tested them in various vehicles / various electrics.

Yea blue bird servos are not ace ive got oen in my xx4 and its very embarasing on the line checking the steering and it sounds more like it turning a JCB than a model car.

Who cares about sound??? they do the job and are more than capable with a tastey price.

The bluebird 617 is a good servo, enough torque, easily quick enough and has lasted all year in my bj4. The 821 is also one of my favorite servos also, if you can get one then id opt for that. But the 617 is very good.

I ran a bluebird most of this year, and Stu Wood Got several National A finals with the Bluebird servos - so like I said, if you get the servos we've used, you're fine. I think some of the older servos had problems.

661 was problematic, steer clear if possible.. however it does work with some people. the 617 or 821 are the ones to go for.

I have them in the nitro, buggies and TC, they have now taken advice and shortened the leads, and I think, for the cash, are extremely good value for money.
