Fiat Bravo advice

Hi all,

We're looking to change our main car to something smaller. One car we both like is the Fiat Bravo 1.9 or 1.4T sport editions. Seeing as they have only been around 3 years or so not many people are complaining of faults.
We are looking at a 1.9 2008 with 40k on the clock.

Can anyone comment on how reliable Fiats are these days? You seem to get an awful lot for your money.

Hi there I have a t-jet 150bhp for the last three years I've found it very reliable. It a great car to drive. The only fault that I have found it that it has a lot of blind spots, but apart from that I would recommend one. :thumbsup:

We had a 2007 Fiat (Panda M-Jet Turbodiesel). The perceived quality on it was very good, loads better than I expected, doors shut with a proper thud and all that. Had a look underneath and in the engine bay eventually though and most of the bits seemed to be very fragile looking so in that respect nothing much had changed since the Mk2 Panda I had 20 years ago. The only thing that puts me off Italian and French cars these days is the electrics once they are out of warranty, everything else seems pretty much sorted.
