HI there, i recently got into rc cars and purchased a new Associated RC10B4.1 Brushless RTR to get myself used to the cars side of things.

I am using a bulk standard car with a 2c 5000mAh lipo, but i like to try to increase the top end a little more, but i do not want a huge speed increase but i am more keen on getting the acceleration more a little quicker.

What do you advice to do this, change the motor or the cogs ?

Be grateful if you could add links to items so i can understand more what part does.

Any help would be you could give to a new member i would be grateful.

i was in the same boat as you 6 months ago, same buggy everything, i tired changing the spur and pinion ratio with not much luck, so in the end i sold my reedy system and have upgraded to a 7.5t system.

very happy now.... :D

Thanks captainlip, did you also change the ecu at the same time or just the motor ?

You will have to upgrade the esc to! Exceed to a combo 6.5t for just over £100 you'll be more than happy!

Reedy system is sensorless, most now are sensored
