Hi,
My BL has run something like 20 packs so far. I never cleaned it and now it starts making quite a lot of noise when running. Are the bearings the only thing that could cause that noise?

no dirt can still enter the can .strip and check is in order

There was some around the bearings. I removed it and blowed in the can but noise is still there. I do not think that rotor is touching either...

carefully take the motor apart - and look inside the can. it's possible some dirt has got inside there, or you may even find blobs of solder knocking about in there too. :o

rotor could have even cracked or started to break up

Is that bonding string coming off, Rich Lowe's started doing this before it died.
