hi, sx 1 might be a better option, as it has most of the ally op ups already on there. sx2 is a great car ( i have one ),but wished i went for the sx 1. then the only upgrade that needs to be done is the big bore shocks. hope this has helped.

Positives
Durango....almost bulletproof transmission, top quality design and manufacturing. Cheaper than Cat SX.
Schumacher....lots of setups available for UK tracks, and lots of hop ups etc...
Negatives
Durango...car might feel different to drive compared to a normal electric buggy, as its got fluid filled differentials. This is brilliant really, as it provides a useful tuning option, but might take some getting used to.
Schumacher....some known issues with idler gears (but they appear to have been fixed or resolved by now, very easy to drive etc.
Cheers

Don't forget the Kyosho ZX5-FS ... can be had for under £300 (check JE Spares) and it's simply open the box, build and enjoy!
Transmission is bullet proof and it's really nice to drive straight out of the box ... crazy strong too.
