Apart from the v2 shocks, mine is almost a b44.1 anyway, so I am not going to bother parting with any money :woot:

I also havent got on with the new motor mount, which while being much more secure, I found it much harder to set the mesh. Not knocking the product as such, it just didnt suit my method of working!

Good luck with your choice

anyone no of anyone thats got any pre orders free??

I was not aware that CML had sold out of their first allocation/shipment, we added more to our own first delivery earlier this week to ensure we have free (available) stock when they arrive without any problems, give us a call if you are stuck finding one available

I got mine late last week...haven't start building yet but there are some new features that I like with the car.

Setup is different with heavier oils and 81 middle spur, lipo chassis is narrower in front and loved the blue anodized screws

Other than that the new manual is an upgradr but shocks, slipper are just like my B4.1 and the quality in B44.1 seems a little bit better....loved the Punisher shell up close!

If you need anything else (pics etc) let me know

Regards
Argi

Plus it makes sense to just sell your "old" B44 and add some cash to get the updated one...I did the math and for me it was cheaper to buy the B44.1 instead upgrading my 2 year old B44 to the new specs

I just bought a B44 off a fellow Oopler, has lots of upgrades already on the car. The only thing that looks much different for me is drilling 2 new servo mount holes, and changing to a 81 spur. Luckily for me anyway! What seems a bit strange is that the Punisher shell will only come with the kit, so how will you get a new one once the kit one needs replacing???
Not that I want one, think its fugly personally but each to their own

NitroArgi

JConcepts will sell the Punisher shell seperately...however it will NOT fit the B44 since the front part of the carbon chassis is narrower in the B44.1

I obviously can't speak for CML or anyone else, but in my business we say products will be in mid-november and they just got sent out yesterday. things get delayed through bad weather or misrouted shipments. loads of reasons.

what difference does it make if now it's here or not. you can't buy it from CML so you will need to place an order through a shop such a MK Racing or DMS Racing. Many more shops will be stocking the kit. These shops will be receiving their stock today/tomorrow/Friday...

Like Wezzer has already said he has no idea who you spoke to who told you they weren't on the boat. Obviously it wasn't him. Making posts on public forums demanding a phone call back or an apology won't get you anywhere.

anyway my apologies !!!!!!

They probably will eventually. Associated make a chassis film sheet. Part number is #9787.

Isn't that an undertray in agri's b44.1 box?

KRob
01-12-2010, 09:28 PM
Don't worry, an undertray is included.

Unfortunately as it's a JConcepts part it is not available as an Associated part number...

But don't worry about that either because an undertray comes with the Proline Bulldog shell so just get one of those and you're sorted

Nearly finished building mine. I bloody hate building turnbuckles :D

Kit has gone together without a single issue.

I thought the old B44 was a doddle to build but the B44.1 kit slips together so nicely! :)

I will get pics up, but not tonight as its late and im watching Misfits :)

Build was silky smooth. The instructions have been refined to make it easier to build in more logical steps.

V2 shocks are bloody ace to build and really smooth and trouble free once built up.

Hi Paul,

I just saw this thead and it was the first I knew of this, I have checked the despatch records and your parcel was addressed to "SK3" but it was UPS who have routed it to "SR3", apologies fo that, I shall have words with their driver when he comes to collect again on Monday to express my thoughts.... ;)

Its even worse when anything like this happens on a friday since you will have to wait the whole weekend, the only good thing is they dont do this very often, in fact hardly at all. Not that it will make you feel any better, but out of all of our B44.1's and other kits/parcels (18 in total) we sent out yesterday yours was the only one not delivered, despite the heavy snow in some areas....
