Keep the entries coming... With most places looking like something out of an Xmas movie scene, our winter series will take place this Saturday!!
All details are at the top of this page....
A few extra directions to the venue can be found on the 'The Mid South Map' (http://tinyurl.com/lkur6k)
Zoom in the green pin should be about right
Remember two 70mph speed cameras on A43 just south of Silverstone (my way home), I am assuming they have not been switched off.

they turn it on and off to catch people out so not worth going through any more than 70mph:thumbdown:
the track is going up friday night and the heating will be fired up as soon as i get in on saturday:woot:
Silverstone RCMCC have some awesome plans for the track, i cant wait!!!!

Handy map, see post 6 in this thread, pin should be near where you want to be.
Hows your brass bits doing in this weather ? I am in Oxford City, not much snow left anywhere - bits on rooftops/fields, roads are good and not as cold as other parts :)

Thanks to everyone for a good start to the SRCMCC Kyosho sponsored Winter series.
Well done to both winners

Thank you Matt and MA for letting SRCMCC host our Winter Series at your amazing facility!
What a great bunch of drivers- serious competetive racing with a great, relaxed atmosphere!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing clubs out there. DMS Racing are our carpet donor for our winter series as SRCMCC don't have any as we only have an outdoor track. DMS's facility has been closed for H&S reasons all week due to the weather so we were unable to collect their carpet for this meeting. West Bridgeford Model car club then stepped up and supplied us with some carpet at such late notice!!!Broxtowe Model Car Club were even willing to lend us theirs even though they have a meeting tonight and their winter series meeting tomorrow (I'm sure there might still be some places!!). I can't speak more highly about these clubs and the people that run them. Seriously good stuff helping us to make our winter series as good as it can be for all. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you to Lloyd, John, Ralphy Baby and last but not least, the control man, Captain Pupton. You are a great team to work with. I'm sorry if I moan a bit :p
Lastly, I'm sure enough has been said this season, but seriouly Lee, different league!!!!!!!!

Just a thought, any chance of the Moto Arena cafe doing a big vat of chilli for the next one?, i'm sure that would go down a treat, especially with some of that garlic bread dipped in it :woot:
or maybe .......
Chicken Madras, Keema rice, cheesy/garlic naan bread, now we're talking :wub

The Chilli request has been passed on to cafe and they will see what they can do!!!! (The curry may be pushing it a tad..)
