Im fitting my 25 mm lipo conversion to my Durango.
Is there a simple reason why the pin to hold the spur gear down will not go through. For some reason they dont seem to be lining up correctly. Im getting very frustrated now!
Im using brand new metal bits but the original spur holder??
Any ideas?
And, where do the 4 plastic collars go? Anybody got a link to the new instruction book?
Was extremely difficult to put the whole way through on my new DEX410R. After a few uses it has loosened up.
Also here is the DEX410R manual, should be what you need.

Just keep fiddleing and will go eventually! Mine was the same. I rounded off the edges to make the pins into a point which did help abit but still took me ages! Once youve done it though it gets easier and easier.

To keep it clamped down it has to be a super tight fit. First time of trying it took me an hour to eventually get it in. After the first time it slotted in much easier.

you need both alloy spur gear mount ( one does the motor mount plus the rear one.
you then need the plasticks kit which lifts the rear strap pin and gives you two holes, you then need to add the 2mm spacers under the front pin holder

mine are the same. I can get it through to the metal again, but then it stops. I can't see it coming out though lol.
The collars could be off the rubber boots. they go over the outdrives. I missed these 1st time round and I even had Jimmy's review open at the same time lol

Done at last. I told the car it was going in the garden if it didnt behave itself. That was a right pain in the arse! Thanks everybody!
Now you have the fun of removing it, fingers hurt after that lol
