I have found a great price on a MRT PT, after speaking to the shop about cloning he advised me it needs to go back to MRT with my ABM PT to get cloned.
My question is can i just get the MRT one and run two PT's on the same day?
The shop said depending on timing software i may only be able to run one number regardless of how many cars i have?
If you're having your AMB PT cloned then simply use it in one car and the MRT clone in the other.
Whether your cars run the same PT number or not should not be an issue for the BBK timing software we use (if cloning they will be the same).
Hope that helps.

I have 3 Pts (1 AMB and 2 cloned MRTs) with the same number as it makes life a lot easier having the one number to remember for all my cars. I have had no problems wherever I go and there is definately no issue at Stotfold.

this is the thing, i dont want to clone so can the software let me have two numbers on my name. one number in the 4wd (amb) and one (MRT) in the 2wd.

Oh sorry, I didn't read your question properly! Yes, that won't be a problem. When you book in Keith will allocated a particular number to 2wd and another to 4wd.
I think the MRT PT has 20 preset numbers... I imagine it is unlikely but the only thing you'll need to be careful of is that you don't use the same number as someone else on the day.

Yes.
I did say that in my first post. ;)
EDIT: beaten to it by Kev - story of my life!
