Will a 10.5 turn motor in a cat going to be any good... or will it be as much use as a chocolate fireguard

I used a 10.5 in mine geared at 23/81 and got some great results on a small indoor track. I ran it at Kiddy and did ok in round 1 when grip was low, but in round 3 any time I gained in the infield I lost down the straight.

suspect you want a 6.5 for starters.

Yeah I would say 7.5 minimum, 6.5 recommended for outside.
Indoors if very tight 10.5 or 8.5.
Hope this helps

Excuse my intrusion in the Schumacher area but......
Depends on speedo. I'm VERY happy so far running a 7.5 on my Kinetic with the timing turned up so that it's very smooth on the in field but winds up to a very impressive top end on the straight. It's the perfect balance for me though I do recognise I am more steady away than some.
