Volunteer :eh?: There well paid professionals who are working in a Multi million pound businesses, surly you have to be accountable for your mistakes? The players are! As are most other normal working people!
As you say they are only human & mistakes will be made but why not be a man & hold your hands up & say you made a few mistakes? Surly the players & fans would have more respect for the job they do if they did.

I bet Liverpool wish they had him reffing for them last night now - they may have got a much needed Penalty then!

I thought it was very bad reffing indeed, but unfortunately with Football this happens all the time, and the only saving grace is that it does even out as the games go by....

To be fair Matt Everton shouldn't have beaten Liverpool last year due to a couple of penalties Liverpool were denied so i guess it's arguably pay back....

I agree about penalties you win some you loose some but as proved last year by mr Hackett some clubs loose more than others :rolleyes:
