Its all gone quiet - Shame as I feel that the momentum building up getting racers here to what is a cracking venue, may take a knock as there is bugger all going on. Come on guys, give us some idea when the meetings will be up and running again please :)

I guess the issue is that as its a dirt track, and Wakefield had a significant amount of snow in December, the track may well be too wet to run at the moment?

An update would be good though..... :lol:

I heard (probably wrong mind) that it was more an issue of actually getting on to the track area as opposed to an issue with the track itself (ie the lane that gets you to the track being very very boggy)

the entrance to the field got very muddy going into november with all the rain we had and then the snow in december thats why the meetings were cancelled .As did a good few other dirt tracks.

also racing on very wet tracks actually wrecks the track surface


if the weather is something like for the next couple of weeks we may resume with the meeting on 23 jan we will let you know in plenty of time

we do have a national round and a regional round this year so im sure the momentum will pick up again
