Hi,
I am a newbe so please a little help:
I just bought Virus 2.0 and have quite some problems with the manual:
First: on the page 9 of instructions (http://ftp.ansmann.de/vapor_manual.pdf) it shows the picture of Mid Diff installation. It looks like something has to be glued together (parts 115000219) but there is number 502 on the glue box. Is it instant glue or something else?
Second: On page 10 it looks like a metal screw 115000201 goes into the plastic part 115000201 but when I try to put it in, I can’t, the top of the screw is too big. What is wrong? On photo http://www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/members/misterbuell-albums-ansmann-virus-2-0-picture38506-dsc00232.jpg it looks like the metallic screw head goes into the plastic part, but with mine, it can’t. Do I have to file or grind the head of the screw or just push hard into the plastic?
Third: there are parts in my box that are not shown anywhere in the virus manual, but I checked the manual of Vapor Kit and they are the same – number 115000434. What is missing in virus 2.0 manual?
Thanks for any help.
Kind regards

God NO it's not glue!!...It's the Diff oil... that should be supplied with the kit.
As for the other issues I shall have a look at the manual now...just wanted to post first to say it's NOT glue, don't use glue :)

Edit:
Okay so as far as the servo saver it seams pretty clear from the instructions the central shaft\screw is inserted from the bottom of the assembly. You have taken the screw cap off and the spring off I assume ?.. sometimes the cap and spring are assembled in the box but you have to take this apart to fit into the servo saver.
Put the pin into the collar with the bearing, then thread this up into the servo saver then add the spring and the cap..pushing down hard and twisting at the same time so the threads bind and you can then screw it down. Also note the servo saver has 2 vertical section...be sure you are adding the collar and pin into the sprung\split assembly and not the solid up right. The solid support only has a pin running up through it. And make sure before screwing down the cap of the sprung section that the two servo arms are in the right orientation.
It's real hard how to explain how servo savers go together lol...follow the thin read lines :)
The extra parts are possibly for the Brushless Version of the car...maybe.

So,
I am still desperate so I decided to go step by step (even Ansmann mail support is silent).
Parts on picture 1: http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936998683252274
From top left (115000201):
Part 1: the aluminum screw, head was 14mm
Part 2: the top plastic part, connected to servo with a hexagonal top hole
Part 3: the bottom aluminum part, to be screwed to hold a spring
From bottom left:
Part 4: the bottom plastic part, connected to the green metal plate for moving wheels
Part 5: the metal part to hold everything together (6mm)
Part 6: a small brass ring (191000011) - out 10mm, in 6mm, 3mm thick
Part 7: the spring
1. First I put aluminum screw into top plastic part - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563935090934732418
2. Since the aluminum head was 14 mm, the head sticks out of the plastic part - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563935099955273058, but checking the web images, it should get in, be flas, so I used a file to get it down to 13 mm and in
3. The aluminum head is now in the plastic fitting perfectly to hexagonal shape of plastic hole.
4. But the hole is 5mm deep before the inner edge,so the head of aluminum screw goes to deep - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563935117299332434
5. anyways adding the bottom plastic part #4, the spring #7 and the bottom aluminum part #3 it looks like this - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936517132610226
6. now putting the black metal screw that hold everything together #5 - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936526784348226
7. at the end everything holds together - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936533653874370, but at the top, the aluminum screw head is to deep - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936537868898802
8. so adding the last brass ring on the top, it looks and feels wrong - http://picasaweb.google.com/mitixi/Ansmann#5563936998683252274
Please help!
Thank you

OK,
the unbelievable problem was that the parts in the KIT I bought were wrong.. I contacted the local Ansmann dealer, and they had the same wrong parts - correct part number though.
So I contacted Ansmann Racing and they sent me the right parts.
Check the difference, mine on the left, the correct one on the right:

Now, after weeks on the web, phone, email, I can start my nitro.
Thanks God
