which yokomo

just reading through some of the vintage posts.
and i was just thinking if anybody could i.d. my old yokomo?
i think it was first built about 82-83 ish
it has a metal chassis chain drive and it has some sort of metal roll bar.

i'm planning to get it up and running again with original electrics so info on what electrics i should be looking for.

almost binned it but i stopped my self.

As it has a metal chassis and it's a Yokomo then it is either a Yokomo YZ834B, with the twin monoshocks and roll over bar seen in the link above, or it's the RPS Yokomo SE with two rear shocks as seen here http://www.oople.com/rc/manuals/yz834b/index.html

The reason it could be either is that the RPS version had a glassfibre chassis and the Yokomo version had a kydex (plastic) chassis. Neither came with a metal chassis as standard.

ether way the box only cost me 20 quid:D
