Actually I THINK the xx4 ones are the longer so the xxx4 ones might be fine.

Losi's website knows...

XXX-4 http://www.losi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSA5064

I don't know if this question should get a new thread, but here goes...
What kind of longevity should I expect from my Ti-Nitride coated shock shafts? I bought a replacement about two weeks ago and after about three hours of driving I'm already seeing the silver metal under the Ti-Nitride coating. This is after replacing the cartridge and oil before use.

That is very quick unless they are binding or something, often if they are slightly bent they will wear like this, have they taken a knock early on?
Are they Losi or MIP shafts?

Super Dan, thanks for getting back:
MIP makes shock shafts? Well, THAT'S pretty cool!
You may be right about the binding; one of the bolts through the shock tower to the shock was bent. I noted it after I took it apart yesterday. All new parts now. I'll keep punishing it, uh, I mean driving it and see how it holds up.
