This has got to be the greatest once in a lifetime event.
The Earth could soon have a second sun, at least for a week or two.

The cosmic phenomenon will happen when one of the brightest stars in the night sky explodes into a supernova.

And, according to a report yesterday, the most stunning light show in the planet’s history could happen as soon as this year.

Thats been going on for a while now, no-one can predict when it will go but at some point it will.

Its a fair way from us down here, so in reality, it could already have exploded, we just don't know it yet :)

If you have some binoculars take a look at it, its the orange one to the south just above orions belt.
