Looking at the weather, best bet is to be stocking up on BB greens I would guess.

Good job they have a new distributor in XFactory UK, get those orders in ASAP I would suggest.

I'll be up there and have stock. You can reserve them before hand if you like and i'll bring them with me. Just select track pickup to avoid postal charges.

How is the field looking with all this rain and will it be an issue for caravans this weekend??

Also the entrance gets a bit tricky so will we be entering via other entrance?

Well my trusty WeatherPro app is reckoning decent weather for sat/sun, quite a decent day on Sunday at the mo. So i wouldn't be so hasty cancelling your entry's.

The field is probably pretty damn wet, it was holding water on Sunday when we went after Woodvale so I'd expect it to be pretty wet.

NO! we can ONLY use the proper entrance by the garden center. Especially with caravans. It's no trickier than the other entrance. We'll tie the gate back to stop it from swinging closed!

DO NOT USE THE OTHER ENTRANCE AS THE POLICE MAY TICKET YOU IF CAUGHT!!

Mate, I recon its going to be really boggy. Its been raining for two days around the Merseyside area. Not sure if Southport has had this much though.....

Hi Keith, as Dan has already mentioned we have them available now through X-Factory UK, from our existing dealers I know for a fact that "Mr O Racing" (Les Orbell) will have plenty of BB stock with him this weekend and as Kev (Inside Line) has also mentioned he has good stock with him already also.

I am not certain as of yet if any of our other dealers are attending the event as a "shop", but if I hear of any more today that are and they have Ballistics for sale with them I will add them to this thread also........

Best Wishes

Darren, XF UK

To add to my post above, Mat Dodd from "Servo Shop" in Frodsham, Cheshire has confimed that he will be attending with good stocks of BB Tyres and Inserts also, so it seems plenty of trackside choices at present......

As it stands those I am aware of all with confirmed good stocks are;

Inside Line Racing - (Kevin Lee)
Mr O Racing - (Les Orbell)
Ross Mods
Servo Shop - (Mat Dodd)

If I hear of any more as the meeting draws closer I will add them to the list........

I don't think I've ever been to a Southport National where it hasn't rained at some point...

Well, just been up to the track, it looks fantastic, completely clean and fresh looking. The new fence and straight works that have been done look great too.

I would say with the track layout and the amount of slippy astro being used BB are going to be used most of the day obviously if it wet. The field is not that bad at the min although it is soggy, so let’s hope the rain stays away.

Craggy did a beyond what I thought was possible in the 3rd leg off the final he had a bad start dropped a couple of places then just went like a ballitic missle to take Ellis for the win it went right to the wire with Ellis absolutely awesome the top 3 went really well ,cragg Stafford Martin pretty spectacular

Craggys dad was pretty speechless

I'd just like to Southport for a cracking weekend, I for one really enjoyed the last round of the series

I really enjoyed the challenge of going around the opposite way to normal on the Sunday, probably could have changed the track a bit more so not all of the back section was used in the way to was but it was still awesome

Yeah, thats a fair comment. The back section is not profiled to work that way. Rumour has it, it wasnt the clubs decision to run it reverse.

Thanks to everyone at southport  the all white make-over was awesome, thanks to everybody who put the work in.

It was fully my decision to run the track in reverse. I take full responsibility if drivers found it too difficult.
It was a virgin track for all the 120 drivers. This was to test the best of the best.

Was not difficult, just a bit awkward. It is off road :woot:

We saw all the mistakes in the A finals with top drivers trying to go fast over it, and people riding the kerbs and grass on the back section.

Was still a thoroughly enjoyable weekend
