Hello,

Could anyone say if the Thunder Tiger Phoenix XB is fit for lipo batteries?

http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=38107

In there pictures it has Tamiya connectors from the battery. Are these compatable with lipos?

I'm looking for a competitive beginner car I can break myself in gently with NiMh batteries, before unleashing the full Lipo speed potential!

Also been looking at Associated RC10 B4.1. So again, can I run nimh before going lipo with this car too?

any thoughts much appreciated...

Connected to your other question - go for the B4.1. A better platform with widely available spares.

Lipo fitting is not a problem, and you can run NiMH in them too.

PS don't waste money on buying NiMH nowadays - money down the pan. Go for LiPo straight away. You needn't fear the power, they aren't much faster than a good NiMH was back in the day (ie 2008!)
