Hey guys,

iīm sure some of you have ordered from RC Camp in Japan in the past.
I was giving them my order via mail last week and didnīt get an answer. I have tried several mailing adresses and wrote them about 4 times now but they donīt answer.
Has someone ordered from them in the past few days? Is there a problem with communication at Champ or are they on holiday?
Suggestions? :o

I am having an identical problem, waiting on bits coming into stock and a couple of weeks ago just totally lost contact with them, can't get any kind of reply! I don't know how many people they have because it happened for a little while before Christmas and it was die to none work reasons the guy I deal with hadn't been around, wondering if it's similar this time!?

I've been in contact with them over the past week or so and my e-mails have been replied to within 24hrs.

However I think it's their spring festival at the moment so maybe their short staffed.

Do you mind me asking who you speak to there?

I heard its easy to be on their black list if you do the wrong thing by them. That is, ask for an order and not go through with it, they block you from future orders. Thats what I heard anyway.

Interesting, it can of course not be the reason for not getting back to me as i bought all items i ordered everytime and i am sure Dave is a nice and polite customer too :)

Strange Dave, as i wrote i got an answer but i didnīt order because most of the parts were not released yet. Maybe i am now on their black list too

there has been many times over the years I have enquired and not ordered due to parts being out of stock / not available or sometimes more expensive than other places. They always get back to me so I think this black list thing is just a silly rumour.

The thing is there is only really one guy who can do their international (english) orders and if he is ill / away it just all goes a bit random.

When Masa is back it will be fine.

Hes obviously not off, that's the point, hes been responding to my e-mails all of last week and i received one just Monday morning from him.

Strange how hes not responding to others, and i dont think the black list thing is a rumour at all.

Guys, don't forget it's chinese new year, so the far east are on holiday pretty much :)

Yes it's new year but as Jamie points out the guy IS there!

The blacklist is if you ask them to order parts in as special order, they ask you then don't cancel the order. My belief is if you have them place the order then cancel you'll he blacklisted. It's fine to enquiry on prices/stock then not order though!

Ironically, if I cancel my order now I'll be blacklisted, but as they won't reply to me I am stuck anyway!? If I try elsewhere when some stock appears in Canada say, I may end up lying twice and getting double the parts I wanted! It's a bit crap really...

Yes Dave i can understand your problem really. What parts have you ordered from Champ? If you can get the parts in Canada and the ones from Champ appear in the end and they answer your mails then maybe i could buy these parts off you if you donīt want to have them double.
I am looking for 502X specific spares anyway...

I had the same problem. Masa replied after about 2 weeks, then stopped replying. I think his colleague processed the order and got it the total calculations wrong. If you are ordering several units of the same item, and they don't have enough in stock, check that they are charging you for only what they have and not how many you requested. I politely pointed out the mistake and requested a new quote, but got no reply for a few weeks.

Then I just put in a new order and adjusted the number of items based on how many they had the first time. Of course, the number of items they had in stock had decreased again, and of course, the guy miscalculated again. This time, it was a reply from Hide. I pointed out the mistake again and after a few days, he replied and said he did have as many of the items I wanted afterall. So I paid the amount quoted.

Now I'm waiting to see what shows up in the parcel.
