I just got a Dynamite machined aluminum arm from MK Racing, not fitted it yet, but putting it side by side with a std one, it looks the same size, so should fit ok, cost about £3.50.

I got the Dynamite one from MK as well. Doesn't fit in my car. Had to dremel the top hole off and use the plastic top from the std horn as a spacer.

Haven't raced it yet but it seems to work.

But, the linkage is very close to the servo because you have to use the second hole from the top so depending on the shape/size of your servo case it might not work. Without some dremeling that is.

I use the Racers Edge Pro to remove flex and backlash. Great mod! Definate improvement!
The Pro works with my Ace 1313, and 1510, but may not work with some servo's. Each are a bit different.

Do you have a part No/ and is it the same size as the original or do you have to cut it down ?

Is your track a real car breaker or something? I've only done 3 horns since I got the car in September '09.

You guys won't be getting a reply - he's banned.

Anyway, most people I know use the Losi horn. ;)

No, this one:

Or the correct one for your servo anyway.

Losi Aluminium Servo Arm (FUT) (LOSA99032)

Losi Aluminium Servo Arm (HITEC) (LOSA99033)

Losi Aluminium Servo Arm (KO/AIR) (LOSA99031)

And they are only about £3.50  Cheers again mr north.

Even at twice the price, this horn is worth the money. It clamps on to the servo, and removes all slack/play/slop between the horn and servo. It makes a big difference in the steering precision. I threw my Losi alu horns in the trash after trying the Racers Edge Pro horn just once.

Never had a single problem with the Losi horns at all, used them a lot.

If you think it's a little slack on the splines use a bit of weak thread lock on it ;)

So this one for Savox

http://www.m-k-racing.com/product_info.php?products_id=7226&manufacturers_id=42

Didn't think people had problems with servo horns. I've set mine slightly less than the blog on the durango site.

I use a dremelled Answer-RC horn, a last minute fix after I stripped the kit horns.

Tresrey are proving hard to pin down...

What size screw do you need for the losi horn? Also do you space it back out as it looks thinner?

Still mulling whether to order one..

Its got an imperial thread, I used a M3 tap and used a short M3 x 8 bolt and a M3 gold spacer that came with the car. Looks ace, and is nice and strong!

Yep, now it's just the servo gears you'll be breaking instead;)

Only if you use a cheap quality servo. I've been using them on all my RC's for about 2 yrs, or more, with no probs.

nope because the servo saver is doing its job now rather than fully screwed up like before.
