Ansmann R2 RX Question

Hi, quick questoin and sure it will be a simple answer.
Just got a used Ansmann R2 FM RX. The RX has 3 ports, one will be for the ESC one will be for the servo but was it the third one for, its labbelled as 'B'

Thats when you bind your RX and TX together, when you buy a rtr or as a package they are usually already paired/binded, If you have a TX with more than one model memory then you can have more than one RX for different cars. With that you will have to bind/pair/connect them together so they can talk to each other.

Thanks for that, presume it will not apply in this case as i only have one model that i will be using this tx/rx with.

You said it was an FM Transmitter so I would say that it is for a battery connection not a binding port. Its 40 mhz using crystals yes?

Battery port is mainly used for nitro cars as they need a seperate receiver battery pack to run the servos. It is also sometimes used in twelfth cars as they use it to power the servo and speedo to get the most out of their four cell/ 1s lipos.

Obviously in a electric car you don't really use this as all power for the electronics will be supplied by the main battery.
