Brushed Motor

Hello all I have just cleaned and rebuilt my Peak V2 motor and when I put it back in the car it is running perfect very fast but the red diode is not lighting up so this means that the capacitors are not working. Will the motor still run ok. I am thinking that the capacitors are to stop clitching but I am running 2.4ghz so it should be ok. If I am wrong can someone tell me what to do thanks.

You need the caps Spencer.

Make sure the little tabs that touch the brush tubes are still connected to the little pcb ok, I think they only clip round it and are superglued to it. I soldered mine on, but be carefull. Make sure the brushtube area that the clips touch is clean.

Cheers G will have a look at it this afternoon. I have replaced the board in the motor as when I took it apart to clean one of the contacts had come off maybe the new one isnt touching properly or the board isnt screwed down enough.
