RC8 brushless conversion

I am thinking of a little project over Christmas and thought about getting an AE RC8 and sticking a monster brushless in it. Has anybody done such a thing or know anyone that has?

Do anyone know anyone that race 1/8 electric converted buggies?

there is a place that sells conversion kits (motor mount, esc mount and lipo retainer) in the states. you got to really cool the ESC and the motors ain't cheap.
