Team Xtreme driver Kevin Lee took top honours at last weekends EIR race in Belgium with the new VEGA-Elite 2WD Mid-Motor conversion for the popular Kyosho RB5. VEGA sent us some news:

VEGA:
This weekend saw the Vega-Elite RB5 take the win at Eir 2011, with Kev Lee behind the 'wheel'. Kev has only raced the Vega-Elite 3 times including EIR and has improved very quickly and consistently. The car was quick and reliable enabling Kev to take the win. We are very pleased with this but this won't stop us testing and developing it further.

Our other Vega drivers had brilliant results too! With John Spencer coming 1st in the B with his Vega-Elite RB5 and Matt Owen coming 4th in the A with his Vega-Elite RT5 (truck ) conversion.. This was the first time Matt had run the Vega-Elite Truck conversion. He tied with the German Champion truck racer in qualifying, winning 4 of the 8 rounds only losing it by 2 seconds
overall.
Full Race reports coming soon.

All in all a brilliant result and there is more to come watch this space........

Well done to Kev on the EIR win, the VEGA looked excellent all weekend and he performed really well under the pressure from the local Belgian drivers who know the track exceptionally well.

I can confirm that i'm waiting for the first VEGA-ELITE 201 to be finished and will be using the car for VEGA-ELITE for the 2011 season. I'm really looking forward to using the car as i'm sure it will handle excellently and will be a superior quality piece of engineering, as is the VEGA-ELITE RB5.

Anyone thinking of pre-ordering one of these excellent conversions, get it done

Big thank you to Lewis for giving me this opportunity :wub
