Hi, I've managed to get myself a place at Worksop meet on the 20th feb and was wanting to know if my car setup is legal?

I'm currently running

Team Orion 11x3 brushed motor
Annsman 3000 cell batteries
Shocks are standard
Servo is standard
Receiver is 2.4 spectrum
Tyres are original mini pins bought with car

I'm currently waiting on my brushless kit from hong kong

9t ezrun motor
35a speedo
Not quite sure which lipos to get yet but was thinking around 3000 to 4000

Any help is always appreciated:)

Thats fine, recommend you charge your lipo in a lipo sack

You'll want to use Schumacher Yellow mini pins as that's what everyone else will be using. I think that those tyres are a control tyre anyway. Most use brushless and lipo but not all. It's not essential to! What car have you got ?

I think Worksop is controlled Schumacher Yellow mini pin tyres !

Is that whats on your car ?

*EDIT* beat to it by Rich :p

Yes, to confirm you must use schumacher minipins - you quoted 'original minipins you got with the car' and i assumed them to be schuey ones..

Yeah I think there schuy mini pins but I'll be buying some as a spare just in case mine aren't the correct ones. My car is a thunder tiger pheonix bx2 which is near enough like a rc10 team associated. Its pretty good but still basic compared to others. As I'm still learning and not sure what s sack is for lipos can some one explain to me? Think I'll have to get my camera out fir this event as it's gonna be good and atleast I know who's gonna be last :)
