View Full Version : NW regional dates - 2011
April 10 - Southport
May 01 - Batley
May 22 - South Lakes
June 26 - Keighley
July 17 - Bury*
Aug 28 - Southport
4 scores from 6 to count.
2wd & 4wd on the same day.
*Due to the planned new track for the club it's not clear if this will be a grass track meeting, or on the new track. Hopefully there will be no problems and we will not have to replan the meeting.

How many dates do you need to do to get an F grading?

At a guess 4 from 6, that's what it usually is.

A lot more people turn up there's usually about 12 heats at Bury. Depending on your overall result over 4-6 races gets you a grading but I don't know what the gradings mean properly.

I Know that us guys at Southport will be CLOSED on the dates that are fellow northwest clubs have, to encourage our members to travel to the them venues.
i would think from learning about the numbers we had on the first regional of 2010 which we had last year, that we will start early and have a pre booking list for drivers to sent there details to us so we can reduce the booking in time on the day.
Dianne has asked about pre-booking for the meetings, there is a job there for anyone fancies running a centralised system.
It would be also be nice to have controlled practice at the meetings, possibly tickets handed out at booking in.
Our happy-go-lucky approach to regionals has served us very well in the past, but numbers are growing......

Heat order practise works better than tickets
And if most are prebooked the heat list would be ready on arrival

There is a job there for anyone fancies running a centralised system, or just if the clubs can do their own.

You could take a leaf out of the mid west book which has centralised booking with wednesday mio day cut off. Anyone after that goes in heat 1. Maybe not so happy go lucky but means you can get the meeting started early, and practice in heat order. Could even do start order by practice fastest lap times.as you say takes someone to run it thoug.

Yeah, that is best, but it needs organisation that we don't have. We just book in on the day and build the heats while practice is running.

Agreed, the first round last year was a pain. I think pre-booking in for this meeting is a must.
Also, keep the same as last year, free practise

Stu, Any chance of posting the email address for the booking in with each club please?
Just so I send my entries to the right person in time. Thanks.
I'm not sure what they are boss. The contact details I have may be personal ones rather than the 'club' ones so I don't want to post them up.
Each club has a section on here, contact details should be therin...
