Hi Ulrich.
Combination of new layout and astro looks awsome..much cooler than potos in stage zero report:thumbsup:.
One thing that invitation doesn`t say anything about, are air-compressores availible near the pit area? This was an issue at the nordics in 2009.
cheers mate

Some drivers have asked us for tyres for the event. It is possible to buy Schumacher mini pin tyres/inserts tracksite. If you want to reserve tyres please PM me or send e-mail to webmaster@racegallery.dk

Thanks for the info Ulrich. How are these tires holding up on your track? How many sets of tires are you expecting to need for the entire race? (Both classes.)

I will say rear tires can take some runs.. up to 3 runs they perform good after that lap times is drop a bit. front tires work well over longer time for both 2WD and 4WD.

Really? Wow. I'm surprised. I was kind of hoping for better tire life. Thanks for the reply anyway. Guess I'm off to shop for more tires. Also, would you be willing to share what kind of inserts you're using with the minipins for the new astro track?
Sidenote - are you using the minipins on the front for 2wd as well? That sounds like a car wanting to traction roll to me.
The race is really closing up now. Can't wait!

It is no problem to use them more than 3 runs.. some drivers mean they perform best in the 3 first runs others run them over a longer period.
For inserts I prefer, tubby in rear on 2WD and standard medium on rear on 4WD and with tubby in fronts.
For 2WD fronts is the old stagger must used, some prefer the new cut stagger on wide rims - not many is using mini pins in front
Hope this help

Then the Nordics 2011 was over...
Congratulations to Odense rc for pulling off a flawless race.
Track was challenging due to grip conditions, and cool jump combinations.
Many thanks to the Rasmussen family for their hospitality and the misses herself and all her helpers for doing a great job in the cafeteria...
Congrats to Jonas, superb driving, and see you all next year

Thanks JensK..
Clubmembers have been very hard working the last 2½ month, where we start to rebuild the track and put the new astro on and made the new jump section and the liftet corner behind the pitarea.
Thanks to everyone that took part in the race, a shame 2011 is a very busy RC year with the Worlds and Euros in same year and someone have to stay home to save money to the bigger events.

I'll join in on the thanks Ulrich. This was indeed a perfect raceweekend. Every detail was thought through and perfectly executed. I think many clubs could learn a lot from Odense RC. Also, please forward our thanks to "Odense Pigene" for serving us great food all weekend.
This was quite a difficult track to drive, but really fun. I have never seen this ammount of traction before, and it was close to impossible for me to get my 2wd to settle down. When I finally got my 4wd set up right, it was one of the most fun tracks I've been to.

I have to say a few words as well! A brilliantly run race, with a very good atmosphere, weather, food and cheap beer!:drool::drool:
