hi to all i have the above speedo i use the default settings on it except i have reverse installed its goes on my xray t3 with speed passion v3 13.5 motor i use 64 dp spur/pinion of 108 spur/38 pinion fdr of 5.40 motor comes of at around 55c i race at stafford indoor on carpet good grip but always 1-2 laps slower then people in my heat any ideas how to go that bit faster without cooking the motor ? thanks

55°c is fine, the speed control ought to cope with well over double this temperature.
Don't be fooled by speed, it'll just hinder your learning curve. If you have 100% control of the car at the speed you have, perhaps put in a much faster motor - but then turn down the top speed (if you can) through the tranny - and then keep increasing it (this means it'll cost you nothing to go faster when you are ready to!!).

I assume that you are racing in a 13.5T controlled motor class. Are you running the speed control as it came from the factory or have you changed the firmware? With that speed control it is possible to change the firmware to increase the speed hugely. There is a long thread on the RCtech forum about Speed Passion advanced timing firmware, but I'd suggest talking to people at you club first.
Beware though, it is easy to destroy your motor doing this if you don't really know what you are doing.

hi guys thanks for info i do run in the 13.5 class i have recently updated my speed passion pro2 firmware to 01212 stock with v1.35 software car is not slow at all but thought they might be some tweeks on the timing for sensored motor supercharger, boost level,supercharger start rpm,supercharger boost opens,supercharger start punch timing etc as i running all these on default
