Parts are listed on the Durango site if you search, I'm waiting for the big bores.
Would do SC racing at TORCH, but need to determine what damage would be caused to the track markings.

At the moment i see no need for big bores, what should happen with it?
Is it not just a marketing thing?

I have to say I've come round to the SC thing. I do think they should be on dirt though as that's what they're meant for.
I'd definitely like to race a 4WD SC some time:thumbsup:

Why are the "1/10 ELECTRIC BIG BORE SHOCK SET: 29MM STROKE (Part No: TD230025)" an option part for the DESC??????

Front are 23mm, rear are 35mm - I think the 29mm length is the buggy-rear length. I'm not sure WHY you'd want to run shorter shocks on the rear than come with the truck, but you can I guess..

By the truck then take the big bores off and then sell it on Ebay with the skimpy ones on.:p

What's the buggy front length?
The big bores might be expensive, but plenty of folk will buy them, I've already got pre-orders for them... If I sell enough I might even be able to afford a set for myself!
Unless Jimmy steals me a set.

I think buggy and SC front shocks are the same, it's just the rears on the SC that are longer afaik.

Oh? The site lists 4 sizes:, 23, 29, 31 and 35!

It maybe cheaper than you think boy's ! Not sure what the stroke is on the standard shocks ? But you may get away with transfering a lot of the parts over and just buying the big bore bodies,caps,o-ring for caps, pistons and springs. Wonder if somebody can confirm this or not.

From what I understand, 29mm is an optional long-FRONT SC shock, 31mm is the buggy rear.
So 23mm is buggy and SC front,
29mm is optional long front for the SC
31mm is buggy rear
35mm is SC rear

Well, sacked off the review idea, couldn't wait to start the build!
Stopped here for tonight:

Large diff bevel gears are still a pain to fit onto the outdrives but other than that it's all gone together really well up to now!
