Spintec ICC Charger

Anyone got a Spintec ICC charger for sale?

Would buy one in the UK but they are too expensive, about 240 BN
RC mart do them new for 150!!!!

What are they like, anyone use one??

excellent, i use one and its made my old cells better and ore like new again.

also about to release a lipo programe for them

Sorry this is a slight aside but this charges each cell individually right?

Does that mean there is no need to equalise before charging? Mark what do you do?

It can equalise/discharge as well and also has a facility to charge externally too in the normal way!

Dan if your at worksop, come find me, it will discharge each cell and charge each cell individually

what i do is set it to discharge, then a delay and charge ( can be set to charge or discharge seperatly or set to discharge and then charge as one function)so in effect it discharges and equalizes each cell then charges each cell and im then ready to race
if time is tight i may discharge on a seperate discharger then go to the above, so each cell then gets taken to.9volt and the is charged.
you get a lcd read out of each cell's voltage/temp and more

:eh?:Presumably the lipo function will be via the external jacks? I had a Spintec on order through my LHS but because it had been on back order for so long and didn't do lipo's, which are now allowed at our club, I cancelled it.
Presumably the lipo upgrade will be backward compatible as my son still has an ICC but even so being an upgrade it's unlikely to be as good as a lipo specific charger.:)

i would have thought external port
it would be as good as any other lipo charger, as its how a lipo is charged thats important, and thats in the software

be nice to be able to charge nimh and a lipo pack at the same time
