Electric off road scene is on the raise once more and here in Greece both 2wd and 4wd used to be two of the most competitive classes of radio-controled car racing. Electro Champs is an International race with a goal to bring the electric power off road racing back to its prior glory.

Electro Champs for its first year will be a one day event that will be held in Stamata Attikis in 29th of May 2011 with former multiple European champion, Hupo Honigl, attending the event!

The battle for the first ever Electro Champion will be implemented with off track side events, music and most importantly....fun!

Come race in Greece...come race in Electro Champs 2011

Hello again from sunny Greece!

It seems that Shin Adachi will join us in the first ever ElectroChamps race that will take place here in Athens later this month!

Team Kyosho driver will join 32 2wd participants and 40 4wd drivers to what appears to be by far the larger 1/10 EP off road event of the year!

Argi

The first ever electric off road ElectroChamps race took place on Sunday 29th of May in Athens-Greece with quest drivers Hupo Honigl and Shin Adachi giving great battles all weekend. The typical sunny Greek weather was the perfect backround for this International show race with top Greek drivers attending.
In 2wd former European champion Hupo Honigl took his prototype Team Durango DEX201 to pole position and after winning two out of three seven minute finals he won this class living Team Kyosho's factory driver Shin Adashi second. Third and best Greek driver was John Papanikolaou with a Kysoho RB5 SP2.
In 4wd it was Shin's time to shine. Starting from second behind Hupo, he won 2 out of three final rounds and took his Kyosho Lazer ZX5 FS2 to the first place of the event. Second finished Hupo Honigl with his Team Durango DEX410 and third was Dimitris Tsigkos driving an HPI Cyber10.
