Im looking to get a new servo for 4WD.
Considering the 1268mg, as it appears tough as old boots with impressive stats..

Does this need to run from the 7.4v Lipo, or will it run through the receiver?
How does it connect to 7.4V?

Is it worth considering an alternative SAVOX model, which has bullet proof internals (thinking of running in a Schumacher Cat with no servo saver or sacrificial servo horn (alloy).

Thanks in advance.

Always ran SC1258, can't fault it.

1256? Hi torque, 20kg... You'll struggle to break that one...

1258, very fast and still huge torque. all metal and titanium gears, had one in my cat for a season and no issue at all.

the 1268 is tougher tho! The 1258 may be 20kg of torque BUT it has a soft alloy output shaft.

1268 is 26kg of torque, with hardened steel gears!! including the output shaft!

I run one in my cat with an alloy servo horn with no issues. 6 months of use with no wear in the gears!

the 1267 is practically as strong, but a little faster, so maybe more suited to 10th racing depending on skill level
