Just thought a thread might be useful for questions/answers, I know Lee has been saving setups on trfracing.co.uk, this thread may be useful for discussing those!?

In terms of my own setup, I'm running the old Hupo 511 setup on my 502 with the following changes:

0.5 degree rear hubs
One coil cut off rear springs (I use yellow)
JT models steering arm, in forward position
Flipped inner camber links so ball stud sits below the links just above the outdrives (at a guess about 3-5mm lower than kit!?)
Run outer hole on all inner links to enable the above

Questions I have for other people using the car are:

1. Has anyone tried 1 degree rear hubs, if so how did they work?
2. Anyone usig the short wheelbase from Lee's setups, again how have they worked
3. Anyone using Blue rear springs? Again, effect?
4. How is everyone running their camberlink setup?

Combinations of the above!?

Also, how sensitive to setup change are people finding the car? I find it less ensitivs to setups than the 511, not sure that's a good thing though!!

Hey Dave, i had 1 degree Rear hubs on mine so far. I found the rear end much more planted than with the standard hubs. Also my track is low grip and partly loose soil so i will try how red rear springs will work, currently have yellow ones fitted. I wonder where you could use the blue ones, maybe carpet or Astro?

I typically run blue front and yellow rear springs on carpet which is what I used all last year, only changing oils depending on track smoothness.

I run a very short wheel base 0.5mm spacer in front and 3mm in the rear and it sticks so well on slippy indoor floors.

blue and yellow springs
0 geg in the rear
all the rest is the same as lees indoor set-up

Do you have that saved down as an editable sheet?
