Honestly...

Bearings are a MUST!... Best £10 you'll spend on the car...

Decent shocks are advised, something like B4, XXXCR or even the ansmann Xpro shocks are all good, there are others out there its all down to your budget....

One last thing on a personal note, ceramic diff balls, about £10-£12 are a nice addition...

Any more questions feel free to PM and ill do my best to help you out...

Regards, Tom

thank you for the help:thumbsup: will get that done,

what is the best motor currently i have a 12.5 brushless?

What kind of weight should i put at the front?

do you need a .10 speed on the servos?

the servo speed helps to catch slides etc.
your motor will be fine for a beginer
put as much lead in the front of the car as you can get in it. i used about 100g in the steering and around the servo.

second hand shocks will be fine as the kit ones really are poo!

If its the brushless RTR then I'd do this in the order below

Bearings,
Fast servo.
Tyres
Play with shock oil / springs
Upgrade motor / speedo.

I run a mad rat indoors at Moto arena and last time out was 9 seconds off Richard Barton with his losi 22 in the A final. My car is totally standard bar the shock oil, bearings tyres and electrics. I have a 5.5 turn brushless motor in mine.

The shocks do explode and it handles like a pig but it's great fun to see peoples reaction to a £45 car coming in the top 4!!

To be fair, I found mine easier to drive than my B4 - it didn't have the stock shocks though, iirc.
