Having sold my old Yokomo a few weeks back, I decided to buy a B44 as a replacement. After checking out my local clubs I realised the Isle of Wight club only seems to race nitro stuff. So for the moment the purchase of a B44 is on hold. To keep me entertained I picked up an used Tamiya TT-01 Xsara to mess around with my son and his TB-01 focus. Very basic cars, but they look great.
My problem is I have become addicted to having them as shelf queens. I have since bought a Subaru WRC 04, Escort WRC, Audi Tourer and now looking out for a Lancia Delta and BMW M3 !!
I've now spent enough to have bought my B44, but instead I have a shelf of models and a hop-up'd TT-01 to race my son with.
Why are these cars so addictive !!!? some just seem too good to race.
How do you lot get on with these all alloy / Carbon Fibre cars, they really do look too good to get dirty or scratched !! ?:D
