My contract is up soon and Im leaving o2 for tesco as they use the same network and can offer a better deal. Not sure of what to get , but its between
a Nokia N8 with
12 megapixel camera
HD video recorder
3.2 inch HD display
Intuitive touch screen display
Instant messenger
You get 750 mins 5000txts and 1 gb data for £20 free phone 24mths contract

or stick with my LG Viewty KU990 and get a tesco sim card £10 gets me 250mins 5000txtx and 1gb data
its got a 5m px camera which is great to use anywhere. Is the nokia worth the extra £240 over 2 years,

i thought the N8 didn't get great reviews. Best read up about the phones at somewhere like GSM arena. Don't want to get stuck with a lemon for 2 years

Read up on the nokia and like above its not as good the adverts make out. Reviews say its slow to download so will give that a miss.
Looking at the HTC wildfire
750 minutes and 5000 texts
500 MB data
Handset price: £50.00 seems a good deal.

alternatively, you can pick up an orange san fransico and unlock it for free. It will cost £80 for the handset, but it is better than a wildfire, and then you can also go sim only contract from tesco.

Agree with you there mate, i have a wildfire but my mates desire is alot better in all areas. Best thing going for mine, is im on tesco pay as you go and when i top up with £10 they give me £20 for free.

Are these any good? I have a Sony C902, but the battery only lasts 2 days on standby and the video recording's not the best!

yeah, they are. a colleague at work got one a few weeks back and i unlocked it, rooted it and installed the latest android 2.2 on it for her. Works really well. Processor is the same as Wildfire, but the screen is far better resolution. build is really good too

For the money, nothing can touch it.
just google unlock san franscico and there is loads of sites that do it for free. Also plenty of video guides on updating it to android 2.2 to remove all the orange crap bespoke bloatware on it. It really is easy.

Just saw this , this morning

So seeing as my phone comes in at 10th and the 5m pixel camera is brilliant I think I will hold on to it and for now just go for the sim card. The top batteries seem tohave battery life issues and mine is not too bad.
