Pics from last year but body still fit! I ran 120A Hobbywing with 10.5 Xerun motor!
It's an RTR chassis and the only ones options are anti roll-bar and FT shocks!

Certainly ain't pretty, and it's never been cleaned - but plenty of smiles from driving the Slash in the muddiest of races...

Yeah, it's the stock shell paint, but racing's gradually building up a good dirt "patina" for a look of its own....

Thank you very much Styleone :woot:! I really like simple paint work and for a short course i found that the fall guy paint scheme suited very well! Now when I'm racing, friends call me Colt!:lol:

Body was painted by Mikovic, he's a master of airbrush paintings here in Belgium, this body doesn't reveal his skills actually! you can find some of his work on www.mikovic.com (http://www.mikovic.com)

Just Finished my Blitz conversion with a JConcepts Manta body ...painted in the Gulf Colours of 1969 Ford GT40 Le Mans .

Really Chuffed with the finished S/C :thumbsup:

Hi all, here is my SCT I recently bought on ebay. Only new part is the motor, everything else was bought second hand off club members or ebay.
Only used it properly once, its great, I love it. I race a B4 at the local club and this thing is going to be great fun for bashing so I can save the B4 for race nights.

Really nice SC10 4 x 4 there, looks too shiny though!

Here is my Sc10, was a RTR but got FT carbon batt strap, rear hinge pin holder off B4.1, bleeder shock caps and FT hinge pin brace.

Love running it!

I could not fit any other brands in it if I tried ! ;)

Started out as a cheapish second hand runner. One complete (and I mean complete) strip and rebuild later it now has the following:

Novak Ballistic 10.5 motor
Novak GTB speedo
Orion VDS1409 servo on modified mounts
Futaba 2.4ghz radio
Mk10 V2 white spoke wheels
Schumacher blue compound Minipins
Losi yellow inserts (no one has any Fastrax ones left)
Pre-printed ATTK-10 shell (not enough time to paint one up)

Goes sort of OK, better than my old SC10 at any rate but still need to put a gear diff in it - got all the bits but no spare time - as it came with a ball diff from an ESE kit and it's seen better days (English translation = it's shagged).

here is my first sc10...(metalic black and white one in the pic)to go with my previous post.started out as cheap second hand kit...then merged it with a t4 factory team..so cost me a lot really but worth it.then was returned to standard and sold on to be replaced with my factory team..

That's a tidy truck!

I re-soldered my buggy and RS Pro today. It also turned out tidy. :)

You can really see how long the SC10 is in that shot, mid motored and everything.

Yeah i know the rear bumper is bent... slightly fractured it destruction testing the truck into a 30ft high event tent roof off a wall ride :rolleyes::blush:

These are far too clean, think I should introduce you guys to my old RAT look SC10

All painted on the outside to give it the matt finish, dents are done by heating the shell and then prodding it with stones, rust is all done by air brush

That looks marvellous!, thanks for the little build page , enjoyable to read and by the looks of it enjoyable to build.

Not to keen on the aluminium arms,as they just add unnecessary weight and can bend easily. If its for looks then its ok.

It's actually magnesium arms and they weigh 29 gram each. I am not sure how much the stock plastic arms weigh. The total kit weight, with all the parts shown in the picture, is 620 gram. Make no mistake - this kit was built for racing. It's my second T-RCE Slash 4x4 and i LOVE this kit:

Ive got the 4600kv, ive changed all the cables to black, one of the stock wires snapped, so while i had the can open i resoldered them all

Oh cool, it's a kind of solder post then? Need a good iron I'd imagine as they are thick wires.
Good motors but I hear stories of them running nice and cool and mine gets hot, I do run it for a while, full packs, but never has it felt cool or warm, always HOT! I've tried different gearing.

Have you checked the temps with a proper temp gun??? I run her yesterday afternoon on a Astro track geared 14-40 and even after 10mins of hard running she only hit 50oC, they are awesome motors, i cant recommend them enough :D

Here is my heavily modified Hyper 10SC. It's an old truck, but is still very competitive. Saddle pack conversion, Novak Ballistic 550 4.5, custom steering rack(turns on a dime ;) ), captive "C" suspension pins, etc...

Here's my slash 4x4, attempting to take the fight to the 2wd boys at SRCMCC every week. Been a labour of love but making progress, 2 consecutive 3rd place Final finishes!!!

Current Spec: traxxas slash 4x4 ultimate with all the shiny alloy bits n gtr shocks
Full ceramic bearing kit
Rpm arms and shock guards
Rpm front and rear bumpers / mudguards
upgraded stiffer springs +20% front and +10% rear
Castle creations sidewinder sct esc and 3800kv motor.
J concept subculture tyres
Proline ford f150 raptor flo tek body
Traxxas LCG chassis conversion
Changed the diff oil in front/rear/centre diff, running slipper clutch on astro though.

Owned Not yet fitted:
Savox sc1257 servo and cc bec, pro line renegade wheels and pinpoint carpet tyres.

Planned upgrades:
Better shocks, ones which rebound and don't leak!

She ain't no oil painting,but I've now got my CKRC up and running. 4x4 with a Hobbywing 4700 Kv motor,120 amp ESC and 3 cell Lipo.She's now got a set of Proline Trenchers and a Savox servo on board.
