Benn looking at getting a stick radio and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a decent one
only one I have seen is the etronix pulse (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/etronix-pulse-f.h.s.s-ex3gpro-2.4ghz-stick-/rc-car-products/38404) but i read that the reciever was not very good.

so what are the stick drivers out there using?

Futaba radios (3VCS for all the toys, 3GR if you aren't worried about some of them) as they are amazing quality.

I changed to the KO Universe recently though as I find the Futaba a bitbulky in hand for my stubby fat fingers.

Just picked up a exzes X too, after many years of using a KO... and so far very impressed. Hoping it will cure some of the radio woe's I've had recently, and by all accounts seems to be the best stick radio about at the mo (Tried a Futaba, and didn't like the feel in the hands).
