Connection on the Pulse 3-Ch EX03GPRO system

I was wondering if anyone had had the same problem as me.

I have this afternoon brought a new Pulse radio system, very nice bit of kit, and I thought great really easy to rig up and away we go - oh, no nothing is that simple! :confused:

Have a look at the pic to know what I mean:

The White plug from the battery just won't fit, the fitting is too large for the plug on the receiver. I have tried it a couple of times but unless I hit it with a hammer it's like a square peg in a round hole :(

Are you trying to plug a lipo in direct? :confused:

You shouldn't be trying to plug the lipo's balance plug into the receiver! Just your steering servo, speed controller and transponder -if you have one.

The receiver has a port marked 'B' and the manual says Battery.

If the white plug on the battery cable isn't for the receiver, where does it go (and don't say where the sun doesn't shine :))?

So if I am right, I have drawn a diagram of my set-up, and is this correct?

I think that looks correct!

Plug your steering servo into port 1 on the receiver and the speed controller into port 2. The speed controller powers the receiver and servo through port 2. Ignore the battery port unless you have a personal transponder which could go in there or in port 3 it doesn't matter which.

The white plug on the battery is for balance charging it. They're not normally on saddle packs like you've drawn though, only stick packs.

The port on the receiver is for a battery but not for us, it is used when running nitro/petrol cars which require a battery to power the receiver. You have drawn it correctly, this is an example from the novak site http://www.teamnovak.com/password/nov_pic/sec_page/photos/GTB_Brushless_SetUp.jpg just think of the nimh as your LiFe

The white plug would be plugged into your charger to balance your cells.
