I purchased this off my work colleague who in turn aqquired it via his relatives who found it in the garage of there newly purchased house!

Im going to strip and rebuild/clean it up , its hardly been used and all original , the wheels and tyres were merely grubby.

Enjoy the pictures...

In the words of one of the "Life of Brian" characters,

You lucky,lucky barsteward.

That is a one real cute machine.

Someone is going to be really, really piffed when they realise they've
left that at their old hoose.

Amazing to see an old car like that, shows how far rally cross cars have come over the years, is that an Ops engine in the car? Strange to see the head is cut at an angle, I presume for clearance, it would be good to see it running but it would be such a shame to get it all scratched up and abused when its in such good condition, I would put it on the shelf and keep it as a shelf queen.

...this site just to I can have a better look at the Super Sport.

That's a very nice and clean looking car. Does the motor work ok?

Here's a pic of mine. If you decide to sell yours just drop me a line, she's lonely all by herself (she is now wearing standard shocks not the ones in the pic)

Lol ive just noticed a few replies , yes i still have it , currently undergoing a minor clean up .

Its in bits , nowt un toward . The car isnt being run as i would reckon that it would ruin a true piece of history.

As for the motor its a mondial and the engine seems a touch tight , i reckon that the fuel has caused the engine to stick.

Nothing a few days in fuel wouldnt sort...i hope!

That S148 servo will not be man enough to steer the thing under power. Even a S131SH couldn't cope...

I found 2 MUGEN Super Sport 92 1/8 cars at the fleamarket
One is in the box and looks to be about 95% UNBUILT
The other is built and is in rough shape

Any idea what these might be worth??
