hey, i want a madrat for racing as a replacement from my rubbish thunder tiger (it was good up first but spares are impossible to come across) but then again people are telling me to get the madmonkey, what should i get, ive been offered a madrat for £35, and can get the madmonkey for £60, will it be worth the extra money? ive heard the midmotor design is better for grippy surfaces, but not as good as jumping, what do you think

What are you racing on ? Rear motor designs suit dirt tracks where you need more weight over the rear wheels, mid motor designs suit Astro Turf better. It depends how serious you are. If it's more of a fun thing it doesn't matter.
