After the terrible day I had at the MK GP I thought I had to look into the brake problem on my Nosram speedo / LRP motor combination.
Firstly I tried a different brushless (Novak sintered) .... brakes seemed to work fine.
Next I tried a brushed motor (BRM 13x3) ...... again better brakes than the LRP bonded brushless was giving me.
OK so what is wrong I thought? I decided that I should run the car with the body off to see the LEDs to see if anything was different (clutching at straws now)
With all the motors fitted again I noticed that I wasn't getting the blue 'full brake' LED lighting on any of them with the car on the ground ... but was with the car in my hand .... odd.
After resetting the speedo (and checking that the transmitter wasn't the problem too) all seems fine. I'm going to keep my eye on this to make sure it doesn't do the same thing again.
It does seem that the bonded LRP motor is still down on brakes compared to the other two motors but as it's in a 2wd that isn't necessarily a bad thing, at least they are now acceptable!
What I was wondering is has anybody else had this happen??????
Never had a problem with drifting settings on any Nosram / LRP product before.
