I need help. I have owned my core system for 12 months and my son has had the electrnoix full spec version for about 5 months. At the northwest regionals on sunday at Batley we both seemed to be suffering from bad interference at certian points on the track were the cars would stop, jitter and sometimes lock up on full throttle. Luckerly the plastic fence caught the car or it could have been very costly. Even at my local club, someone was practicing and my car sreering was moving in time with her transmiter comands. I have rebound both sets of gear but still have the same problem. Has anyone got any ideas. I like the radio but if it continues i will have to buy new. It was mentioned that due to thier being 138 drivers and over 95% of them are on 2.4 this could be the issue, to many drivers on 2.4 which reduces the band width/slows it down. anyone got ant ideas.
Cheers

Doesn't matter how many people you have using 2.4, you will NEVER get 2 different sets of radio on the same frequency..NEVER!

The amount of people therefore will NOT slow down the speed of the connection as each radio set has it's own channel/frequency.....

Unsure of your problem at hand, but just putting you on the right path about 2.4. I have used the Core R/C FHSS set and DHSS set for a good while now. The only glitching problems I had was with the old DHSS (Grey Receiver) so I changed to the new FHSS (Blue Receiver) set. And had no problems at all...

cheers for that. I had the same thought but thier was still on person controling my car on wednesday at my local meeting. The steering and throttle were beiong controld by thier radio whilst they were on the track, practising before racing. I was in the pit area trying my car before racing. I cant see how this happens when each unot it uniquly bound to its own transmiter. Strang ??

have you tryed rebinding it?i had a similar issue with my futaba 3vc with 2.4ghz module and receiver kept loosing signal and abit of interference too couldnt find the problem and then the signal dropped to about 10metres so had to send it off for repairs.

I tried rebinding and it seemed to to better but not cured, due to the amount off interference me and my son got at the regionals on sunday.
Possible thinking of going back to 40mhz.

I am having exactly the same issues with the older grey receiver core code radio.

I have rebound the rx`s several times but it is still giving me issues. Has anyone tried getting in touch with Schumacher the core code importers?

Hi,

I used to have the Etronix 2.4 stick radio too, but I got rid of it after a few weeks.

It would behave itself and work perfectly if there were only a few other drivers on the rostrum with me, but as soon as there were 6 or more people racing then I would have issues with glitching and locking out momentarily.
As soon as the other drivers buggered off, it was ok again!!

I put this down to the output strength from the transmitter being too weak compared to other more expensive brands, therefore struggling to keep in touch with my car.

I went back to 40meg and have no issues!

Also as a side note, two people at our club had an issue with a 2.4 transmitter binding itself to 2 separate receivers at the same time!
It shouldn't happen, but it did and it caused havoc!!

I ran the etronix pro version at the petit race in January. 150 racers and 10 car heats. The system was perfect all weekend, I was very impressed with it.

I run mine at every National event - 140 drivers,10 car heats and runs perfectly....Run in all Regional - 89 drivers, 10 car heats, still no problems....Ran at Schumacher Indoor Off Road Masters - 120 drivers, 10 car heats, not a single problem!
